June 2005 wrap-up:
One month to go in the 2004–5 season, and Mark Van Dyke (loosespokes1135) of Grand Haven, MI and John Schafer (netview85) of Battle Creek, MI, are sitting pretty atop the ratings list. Charles Rodgers (KALEKAI) of Honolulu, HI is clinging to Third Place, but Donald LeVack (_redeagle0) of Colorado Springs is making a late move. LeVack reached the Top Ten for the first time in April, and is now in Fourth Place with eight rated events still available to him. LeVack notched 144 IRPs in June, 63 of them earned by winning the final tournament of the month. LeVack played in 12 tournaments during the month, and qualified in 11 of them (a feat that requires finishing roughly in the top ¼ of the field). Sounds like we have our player of the month.

There's plenty of jockeying left to go for the coveted All-Internet spots, which go to the seasons ten highest finishers. They, along with the highest 10% of rated players, will receive an invitation to the 2006 ACC Tournament of Champions in Reno. Several players with rated events to go will be challenging higher-rated players who have already attained their 100-tournament quota.

Congratulations to first-time ACC Internet Cribbage tournament winners Ronald E. Boulé (boomboom2996), Robert Beguin (beggyone) and Roy J. Varni (avp3404). Beguin has been in the ACC for several years, but only recently signed up for official Internet play. His screen name was certified by Assistant Internet Statistician Lois Fosdal on June 18. Robert then played in his first event that evening and won! Varni, who joins us from Juneau, AK, is our first winner from Alaska.
