July 2008 and Season Wrap Up:

Gary Wirth (VertoGoAway) - ACC Internet Champion

Congratulations go to Gary Wirth (VertoGoAway) for earning top honors for the ACC Internet Season 2007-2008.  Gary earned 135 more points than Mike Fetchel (mfetchCT425), the second place finisher. 

Lewis Skidmore (loskidmore)who was not even in the top 19 last month, jumped all the way up to 11th.   John Schafer (newview85), Willliam MacMillan (Bristlecone_1), and Daniel Crete (creech1) all climbed over those who were previously in the top 19.

There were 189 ACC members who earned IRPs, resulting in 19 players receiving invitations to the ACC TOC.

Congratulations to Gary, the  top 10, the top 10% of point earners and all who played!

The TDs organized and handled 216 ACC Cribbage Tournaments.  A total of 9,736 players, a duplicated count, participated in these tournaments.  Don Ellis estimated that a there was approximately 23,760 games played in these tournaments.

I am using Google[tm] Calendar for the calendar for the new season.  This makes it much easier to maintain the schedule as once a change is made to the calendar, it is automatically updated  on the web page without any other intervention.  This calendar can be seen at the Tournament Schedule page.  The calendar has been set for the entire season; however, there may be a few adjustments as the season progresses.
