August 2011 Wrap Up:

Start of the 2011-2012 Season

This is the start of our 8th full season of ACC Internet Tournaments.  This season we change from Cribbage Cup to a 9-Game Grass Roots type format.  Please review the schedule for Wednesdays as these tournaments alternate with 8pm ET/5pm PT and 11pm ET/8pm PT.

Mark Van Dyke (loosespokes), winning the first tournament of the season, jumped out to an early lead during the first month of the new season.  Sam Sinram (IA503) is in second with Michael T. Burgess (Reading_5943) close on his heals in third place. David Hardy (novatx237) is in fourth.  Ronald E. Boule' (ron235) rounds out the top 5.

The TDs held 22 tournaments during August for a total of 22 tournaments this season.

Grand eMaster

William MacMillan (WY00191L) is our first player to reach Grand eMaster level in the new season.

No players reached the eMaster plateau during August.

John Schafer (netview85) stepped down as a TD this month.  We want to thank John for is work on the eCribbage site, especially for driving the 9-game format.  We appreciate his efforts.
