Keith Widener

Clemmons, North Carolina

It is always the pleasure of the American Cribbage Congress to induct a charter member into the Hall of Fame. Keith Widener is a charter member from when the ACC formed in the late 80s. When Keith is not running his accounting business in North Carolina, you may find him at any weekend tournament from Bangor, Maine (except in January) to any tournament in California.

Keith represents the ACC as a travelling ambassador and a 16-year board member and a member of the executive committee for the past 10 years. During his time on the board, he serves as BOD VP Policy, Head of Ethics Committee and the National Commissioner of Senior Judges.

As a life master 3 star, Keith has 53 tournaments wins, earning him All American honors five times. Keith co-founded Grass Roots Club 221 in 1997 and has earned his Silver award for Grass Roots. He has been a certified judge for over 20 years and directed and co-directed many tournaments. Keith represents the board as a player who welcomes new players is always the same, whether win or lose.

Keith brings professionalism to our board and our organization, and we are honored to have Keith inducted into the American Cribbage Congress Hall of Fame in 2023.
